Information on Personal Data Processing

This section contains complete information on principles and procedures related to the processing of your personal data at our website, including your rights, in full compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC; hereinafter we shall refer to this Regulation as the “GDPR”.

Who works with your personal data

We, VGD Technologies, s.r.o., with our seat at Bělehradská 314/18, Praha 4, 140 00, Business ID 05061806, incorporated in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, Insert 257719, are the controller of your personal data.

Your personal data may be processed for you by other suppliers, which we have meticulously selected and with which we have concluded written agreements. Your personal data may also be processed by vendors of processing programmes, services and applications. Information on the use of specific applications can be found in the following section.

Where we work with your personal data

We process your personal data solely for clearly defined purposes stipulated in this section of our website. We shall not process your personal data for any other purpose without your consent.

IP address and cookie files

Unless we have your IP address, we cannot display our website correctly on your device. Also, we store your IP address together with your website access date in the access log for our own website security reasons. Your IP address shall be stored in the access log for 365 days before it is automatically deleted.

We use several types of cookie files:

Technical and preferential cookie files

Thanks to these cookies, the website remembers e.g. your preferred language. These cookie files do not process any personal data and we use them solely for this purpose. These cookie files are stored in your web browser until you delete them.

Analytical cookie files

We use several analytical tools to monitor the functioning of our website:

  • Google Analytics to measure website traffic
  • HotJar to monitor how intuitive visitors find our website

We store Google Analytics cookie files for a maximum of two years from your last visit to our website and HotJar cookies for a period of one year from your last visit. To both tools, we send only anonymous data that cannot be traced back to you. 

Advertising cookie files

Advertising cookies enable us to show you ads that are relevant to you, but only after you grant your consent. Specifically, we use advertising service cookies from Google AdWords, DoubleClick, Facebook Ads, Sklik, AppNexus and Rubicon at our website.Information on these cookie files can be found on the websites of these providers.

Contacts forms

Contacts forms – interest in services

You can use the contact form to ask a question about anything or initiate a business relationship. In the contact forms we process your name, name of the company, email address and telephone number. We process these data only to draft a service quote, negotiate a proposal or to answer your question, for a maximum of 12 months from when you submitted the form, unless you grant your consent to have your data further processed.

Contacts forms – career

You can use the career form to express your interest in working at our company. In the career form we process your name, email address, telephone number and your CV. We process these data only to discuss the job offer in relation to which you contacted us, and in relation to the start of employment, for a maximum of 12 months from when you submitted the form, unless you grant your consent to have your data further processed.

Newsletter

We send our newsletter to our clients, employees and further only to people who have subscribed to it on our website, thus granting us their consent to receive marketing communication messages.

How to exercise your rights

Please be informed that in compliance with the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request information about personal data processing from us,
  • Access your processed personal data, have them corrected or deleted or request limited processing,
  • Object to the personal data processing,
  • Recall your consent by following the procedure stipulated in the personal data processing consent or by sending a request to the contacts provided below,
  • Contact us or the supervising Office for Personal Data Protection should any doubt about compliance with our obligations related to personal data processing arise.
